Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Return Eligibility

Due to the sensitive nature of our products as laboratory research materials, we maintain strict return standards to ensure product integrity and safety. The following conditions apply:

• Items must be unopened and in their original, factory-sealed packaging with all tamper-evident seals intact.
• Return requests must be initiated within 30 calendar days of the delivery date shown on the carrier's tracking record.
• Items must be returned in the same condition as received, with no visible damage, heat exposure, or contamination.
• A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained from our support team before shipping any return. Returns received without an RMA will not be processed.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

• Opened vials or containers — once a product seal is broken, the item cannot be returned due to contamination risk and regulatory requirements.
• Custom or special orders — any product manufactured or prepared to custom specifications.
• Reconstituted products — any product that has been reconstituted (mixed with bacteriostatic water or any solvent) is non-returnable.
• Expired or short-dated products purchased on clearance or with explicit disclosure of the expiration date.
• Digital products or services — including but not limited to analytical reports, consulting, or expedited processing fees.
• Shipping charges — original and return shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (see Section 5).

3. Return Process

To initiate a return, follow these steps:

1. Request an RMA: Contact our support team at returns@peptidetech.co with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return. We will issue an RMA number and return shipping instructions within 1–2 business days.
2. Package securely: Place the unopened product in appropriate protective packaging. Include a copy of the original packing slip or order confirmation inside the box. Write your RMA number clearly on the outside of the package.
3. Ship to us: Send the return to the address provided in your RMA instructions. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and retaining your return tracking number. Peptech is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit back to us.

4. Refund Timeline

Upon receipt and inspection of your returned items, we will process your refund as follows:

• Inspection: Returned items are inspected within 3 business days of receipt to verify they meet our return eligibility criteria.
• Approval: If approved, your refund will be initiated immediately.
• Processing time: Refunds to credit/debit cards (via NMI) typically appear within 5–10 business days of approval, depending on your card issuer. Cryptocurrency refunds are processed to the same wallet address used for the original payment and may take 1–3 business days to confirm on-chain. ACH refunds are processed to the originating bank account within 3–5 business days.
• Notification: You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been initiated.

Restocking fee: A 10% restocking fee may apply to returns not resulting from our error, to cover inspection, repackaging, and quality assurance procedures required for research materials.

5. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives with damaged items or you received an incorrect product:

• Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at cs@peptidetech.co.
• Include clear photographs of the outer packaging, the shipping label, and the damaged or incorrect product(s).
• If the issue is verified, we will ship a replacement at no cost to you via the original shipping method (or upgrade to expedited shipping at our discretion). Alternatively, we will issue a full refund including original shipping charges.
• Do not discard damaged items or packaging until the claim is resolved, as the carrier may require inspection.

6. Order Cancellation

You may cancel an order before it has shipped. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled and must be processed as a return per Section 3. To request an order cancellation, contact us as soon as possible at cs@peptidetech.co. Cancellations for cryptocurrency orders that have already confirmed on-chain may be subject to blockchain transaction fees.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer or payment provider. Most issues can be resolved quickly through our support team. Chargebacks filed without first attempting resolution through our return process may result in the suspension of your account.
